Vinnova grant success!

We are happy to have been granted another 0.9 M SEK from the Swedish Innovation Agency Vinnova to further test and develop our business model during the upcoming year. Cristina Paun, co-founder of Peafowl Solar Power and coordinator of the project (pictured), looks forward to starting the project:
– This is really great news for us. We will do product development and testing in very close collaboration with customer and user, which is crucial to be able to develop an offer that really fits what they need.
The project will be carried out together with building owner Akademiska Hus and their tenant, Green Innovation Park, and the product concept is a non-intrusive installation of self-powered sensor glass to provide data for building optimization. Smart regulation can save 15-40% of the energy used for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, which makes it a sustainable as well as economical investment.
We are very happy to be able to contribute to that buildings can become more sustainable.
This is a very exciting project!

– Anna Mankert, Green Innovation Park

This grant, which is focused on in situ testing, customer validation and business model development complements the previously announced grant of 3.4 M SEK from the Swedish Energy Agency that is more focused research and technical development.
