Welcome our new CEO: Per Edström
In the midst of recent turbulent events, our team keeps growing both inside and outside the lab – and we are happy to welcome Per Edström as our new CEO. Per is a serial entrepreneur who brings over 30 years of experience in developing innovative early stage companies to market entry and scaling. He takes over the CEO position from founder Jacinto Sá, who will continue leading the technical development as CTO.
– I am thrilled to become a permanent part of the Peafowl team, says Per Edström. When I started working with Peafowl last year I quickly realized what an exceptional startup this is – both in terms of the level of innovation and in terms of the drive and commitment of the team members.
As founder of Reforce International and Wishmaker Innovation, Per has helped nearly 100 companies increase their strategic and operational objectives, and he has also founded and been CEO of Abalon, a software company with a global customer base, and CEO at Starcounter, a software startup in Stockholm. His profile strengthens the position for Peafowl Solar Power to widen the scope beyond pure power supply, to integration with broader smart and sustainable building solutions.
– Companies need to be innovative in so many different aspects today. Innovation is at core and business models need by definition to be advanced in order to survive the global competition. I love being able to contribute my experience and knowledge to companies to do that, and will work hard to make sure that Peafowl Solar Power grows in a way that corresponds aptly to what customers really need.
